Polstead Gardening Club
We are a friendly local group who meet seven to eight times a year, 7 to 8 club meetings, autumn to spring at Polstead Village Hall, CO6 5AL at 7.30pm, with a variety of speakers. Typically, meetings are on the 3rd Tuesday of the month. Please see below for the meetings currently scheduled.
We also have a garden party, which is not at the village hall, and occasionally a trip in the summer.
The club has 29 members, with anywhere between 20-50 attending any one meeting, We also welcome non-members to our meetings. Most members are from the parish, but we do have some members from neighbouring villages and we also exchange information with other local gardening groups.
The club has a stall at the Christmas Fair to sell plants and to raise awareness of the club, and the Nature Citizen charity, which we support.
Annual single membership is £20 and £35 for joint membership.
Non-members are always welcome and the fee is £5 which includes a glass of wine, soft drinks and nibbles.
New members are always welcome!
