Code of Conduct
In accordance with the Localism Act 2011 s 26-37 Polstead Parish Council adopted the code of conduct. Residents of the Parish can inspect a copy of the code by contacting the Parish Clerk or looking at the Parish Council page on the Polstead website. A copy of the Councillors’ Register of Interest can also be found on the Parish Council Page of the Polstead website.
Freedom of Information Act 2000
At Polstead Parish Council’s meeting held on 17th July 2014 the councillors resolved to adopt Polstead Parish Council’s Publication Scheme and committed to produce and publish the method by which the specific information will be available so that it can easily be identified and accessed by members of the public. A copy of the Publication Scheme is available from the Parish Clerk and the website www.polstead.onesuffolk.net
Representation of the People Act
The Register of Electors is updated annually and came into force on 1 December 2021 and is available for inspection at Babergh District Council Endeavour House Ipswich.
